What is the Big SU Doodle?
be pART of the ART is back, and you can make your mark on designing a space in your new University. Every year, to celebrate Freshers’ Week we make a piece of Art to represent Freshers’ Week and this stays on display in the Edge. This is made up of as many students’ contributions as possible – it’s completely shaped by you! Come down to the Edge Events’ space and make your mark on this year’s Freshers’ Week piece of art, no previous artistic experience needed! You can write your name, leave a drawing, anything you like. You can turn up at any time, there is no starting point. Simply turn up, make your mark and leave! You can even check out the previous FW art from FW24 and FW25 in the events’ space!
This event is open to ALL freshers and you do not need a ticket to attend! However, you will be required to check in upon arrival so please bring your student card with you.

Accessibility Information - What can I expect from this event?
This event will take place the Edge Events’ Space (ground level, to the left of the Corner Café). Noise levels are estimated to be lower, though this may vary depending on levels of attendance at any one time, but if busy, feel free to come back at a later time when it may be quieter. Staff will be on hand to aid in any way needed. Venue is wheelchair accessible.
