What is Games on the Green?
I doubt that you are bored during Freshers’ Week, but if you need something to do and fancy some time with your mates, this is perfect. We’ll have plenty of casual games on the Chancellors Green to participate in, from Jenga, to Connect 4, to pop-up badminton just to name a few. You can drop in at any time, wander between games, and join in as much or as little as you like. It’s a perfect way to break the ice, get to know people, and enjoy a laid-back start to the year. Our Captains look forward to seeing you there.
This event is open to ALL freshers and you do not need a ticket to attend!

Accessibility Information - What can I expect from this event?
Chancellors' Green is an open, grassy outdoor space with level access from nearby paths. All games will be set up on flat ground and are optional to participate in—spectating is welcome. You won’t be required to speak in front of a group, and games can be played at your own pace. The event is unamplified, so noise levels will be generally low, though there may be moments of lively chatter and cheering. You are welcome to bring your own food or drink, and drinking water will be available nearby. Seating areas will be provided for rest and socialising. If you have any specific access needs, our fresher’s week captains will be on hand to assist and adjust where possible.
