City-Based Student Chill Spaces on Campus
Do you live in the city? Got some time inbetween events during Freshers’ Week? Not sure where you can go to just chill out?
This year we’re working with Reslife for Freshers’ Week and providing 2 spaces on campus dedicated to city-based students who need somewhere to relax between events, who can’t just pop into their accommodation to kill some time.
These spaces are completely free to use and don’t require any booking. Just turn up and relax! We are temporarily taking over the Student Leader Hub (Open 9am till 5pm) and the Polden Common Room (Open 8am till 6pm) for you to use throughout the week.
Where can I find these spaces?
West side of Campus: Polden Common Room, Ground Floor of Polden B Accommodation, next to the West Accommodation Centre
East side of Campus: Student Leader Hub, Level 1 of the Edge
Accessibility Information - What can I expect from this space?
Polden Common Room: The entrance is at ground level, with double automatic doors.
Student Leader Hub: After the main entrace, turn left and you will find the lift ahead of you. Take the lift to Level 1 to find the space.
Noise levels within these spaces are undetermined and will most likely fluctuate based on the number of people using the space.
