This webinar will offer you the chance to gain an understanding of what karate is and the different elements that make up this wonderful martial art. These include:

  • Kata (form)
  • Kumite (sparring)
  • Basics 
  • Fitness

We will also be breaking down some common misconceptions of karate as a sport (you don't need any prior experience to join, nor will you be chopping wood in half!), discussing how you can progress through the belts, how we as a club work, what kind of socials we have and how we are adapting due to C-19. 

 

There will then be the opportunity to ask any questions you may have, which will be answered by our committee. No question is a silly question, and we are more than happy to help.
