BUSMS Open Rehearsal and Picnic Lunch: 10:30am - 1pm; 1W 2.101 and The Lake; Come along to see what a BUSMS rehearsal looks like! We’ll go and see both the cast and the band rehearsal for our returners show, The Addams Family. Afterwards, we’ll head to the lake for a picnic lunch!

City Meet Up Point: 7pm - 7:30pm; Meet at Green Park House, 6 Green Park Road, Bath, BA1 1BQ; Meet up with people and head up to Campus together for the Welcome Ball from Green Park House.

Spoons to Spoons: 8pm - 3am; The King of Wessex

Welcome Ball: 8pm - 2am; FW26 Arena; Time to dress up and celebrate the end of FW26 in style!

Freshers Week Tournament - 8 Ball: 12:30pm - 4pm; The Plug

Freshers’ Week Cafe Culture: 1pm - 3pm; City; The perfect end to Freshers’ week. Nurse your hang overs with coffee, good chat and a chance to explore the city. We've heard its the best way to meet new people… (location announced on Instagram @cafeculturebath)

Sunday Skyline Walk: 1pm - 4pm; Meet outside the Library; Discover the famous Bath Skyline Walk on the last day of Freshers' to unwind!

Karate Taster Session: 3pm - 5pm; STV Dojo; Join us in the STV Dojo for a taste of Karate at Bath! Wear any normal sporty clothes, or a gi if you have one!

Buzzer Quiz: 3:30pm - 6pm; 8W 2.30; Test trivia and reactions with starters and bonuses just like University Challenge. How fast is your buzzer finger? Space limited - first come first served - feel free to bring food and drink.

Boardgames Social: 4pm - 5:30pm; Chaplaincy Centre; Good games, good company, and plenty of friendly competition!

Taster Session: Crafting an Opera Scene!: 4pm - 5pm; The Edge, Events Space (ground floor, in front of the café "The Corner"); Sing, act, and step into La Traviata with its iconic “Drinking Song”. No experience, no solos, no pressure. Just give opera a go!

Archery 'Give it a Go' Session: 4:30pm - 6:45pm; STV Sprint track; Have you ever wanted to give archery a go? Join us at this free, 30-minute taster session - no experience needed!

Yoga - Beginner Friendly (City) - Sun 27 Sep - SOLD OUT: 5pm - 6pm; SCALA Hall, Oldfield Park

Karaoke: 7pm - 10pm; The Tub; Want to sing you way out of Freshers' Week 2026? Get down to the Tub with all your new friends.

Latin & Ballroom Taster Lesson: 7pm - 8pm; Claverton Rooms; Come along to try some latin and ballroom dancing! All of our tasters are beginner friendly, so don't worry if you have never danced before. Make sure to wear comfortable clothes that you can move in, and water. We look forward to meeting you!

Stargazing: 8pm - 10:30pm; The Lake; End your Freshers’ Week on a high as you look into the stars and reflect on a fantastic first week in Bath.

SU Groups Fair: 4:30pm - 6:30pm; Founders Sports Hall; Another opportunity to meet our diverse range of societies, media, volunteering and diversity & support groups!

Gymnastics Taster Session 1 - Monday 28th September: 9pm - 10pm; Baskervilles Gymnastics & Fitness Centre, BA2 2EJ; Come get a taste of gymnastics with our second taster session of the year! This taster session is welcome to students of all abilities and is a great chance to try out gymnastics for free! Session signups open Friday 25th September at 12:00

Academic Mass & Welcome Dinner: 6:30pm - 9pm; St. John the Evangelist's Catholic Church; Begin the academic year with Mass, community, and a meal together.
