Yes. All sponsorships must be approved and processed through The SU, University of Bath. This ensures transparency, compliance, and proper invoicing. Once your sponsorship package is agreed, a contract will be signed by you (the sponsor), an SU Officer, and a Hindu Society representative. The SU Marketing Department will then issue the invoice and process payment.
Absolutely. While we offer structured Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Platinum packages (as well as restaurant-specific options), we can create a bespoke package based on your goals. Email us at su-hindusoc@bath.ac.uk to discuss.
Yes. The SU has guidelines to protect student wellbeing and avoid conflicts of interest. We cannot accept sponsorship from:
- Insurance companies (The SU has an exclusive deal)
- Nightclubs or bars (unless approved by The SU and NHSF UK)
- Tobacco or gambling companies
- Letting agencies (only approved in Semester 2)
- Businesses advertising part-time jobs (must go through the SU JobShop)
- Alcohol-related sponsors or events (unless pre-approved)

No. All sponsorship prices listed are exclusive of VAT. The SU will add VAT when invoicing and provide a formal VAT invoice.
Most packages run for a full academic year (September–June). We also offer semester-only packages, one-off event sponsorships (e.g., Diwali or Holi), and year-round advertising options. Start and end dates will be confirmed in your contract.
