To provide Voice student leaders with support and improve the SU’s ability to represent students across the University. This could include:

• Facilitating student leadership within the Academic Rep system, working with our team to provide tools and training to achieve a fully student-led system
• Improving our institutional knowledge of student issues, providing students with the resources to reimagine student education at a course, institution, and sector level
• Enhancing the Academic Rep system in line with student views, improving the ability of students to form communities, work with Officers, and advocate for change
• Providing “front of house” support to Academic Reps, acting as a first point of contact at meetings and via the Voice inbox · Researching best-practice across the Higher Education sector, working with SU Bath and our partners in the sector to build a best-in-sector system at Bath
• Supporting Academic Reps on a full range of projects, from resolving smaller and specific concerns to projects around sustainability, liberation, and student rights
• Working with Officers to identify trends and escalate issues within University structures, ensuring the Union can respond effectively to student concerns
• Representing your own views in meetings or consultations with the University, external partners and authorities.

Rate: £14.47 CW3 (including holiday pay)

Hours: 7 to 10 hours per week term-time.

Location: This role will mostly be based in 1 East (Claverton Down campus) or other locations on campus. There may be the option to work from home for specific tasks (by prior agreement from line manager).
