The Students’ Union Bars & Events team are looking for enthusiastic and committed individuals to join our award-winning venues as Team Leaders. This role is ideal for anyone looking for flexible work on campus while gaining valuable leadership experience in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

We’re looking for hard-working individuals who embody this spirit — people who can lead by example, support their team, and help deliver exceptional service across our Bars, Night Club, and Events spaces.

As a Team Leader, you will support the Venue Supervisors and Management Team by overseeing shifts, guiding staff, maintaining high service standards, and ensuring the smooth running of operations during busy nights.

Requirements

• Must be available to work weekends and occasional weekday evenings
• Must attend in-person training during week commencing 9 September 2026
• Expected start date: 16 September 2026
• Interviews held mid/late August (in-person or online)
• Freshers’ Week: minimum of four shifts
• Term time: minimum of two shifts per week
• Shift lengths vary between 4–6 hours

Pay

• £13.65 per hour + Holiday Pay = £15.30 per hour
