The Students’ Union Bars is looking for a new Quiz Master to run the highly successful weekly ‘Plug Quiz’ for 2026-2027 academic year. Applicants must be able to consistently devise an entertaining and challenging quiz for the all student participants. They must also be comfortable hosting and running the quiz in front of up to 250 people every Tuesday night from 19:00-22:30 during term time. They will also need to take photos of winning teams to post on the Plug Instagram and film a weekly question to be posted on Mondays.

This is a fantastic opportunity for experienced quiz masters or a charismatic individual who wants to try their hand at something new. The time commitment is 3.5 hours preparing and writing the quiz and 3.5 hours presenting.

You must be available from 19:00-22:30 every Tuesday during term time, and during Freshers Week for the Big Plug Quiz on Tuesday 22 Sept and the PG Quiz (tbc).

Rate of pay is £13.45p/h with holiday pay: £15.07
