Student Ambassador – Social Media

Details

The University of Bath is looking for students to join our Student Ambassador Programme and help create content for the University's official social media channels, including @uniofbath Instagram and TikTok. You'll work with the Social Media team to showcase student life at Bath and help prospective students discover what it's like to live and study here.

You can get involved in one or more of the following roles:

Creator

Create engaging social media content, including videos, photos and posts, based on a brief.

Performer

Feature in videos, livestreams and other content as an on-camera presenter or contributor.

Supporter

Help behind the scenes with filming, photography, content production and event logistics.

Throughout the 2026/27 academic year, you'll have opportunities to work on a range of social media projects, as well as attend exclusive networking and skills workshops.

Who we're looking for

We welcome applications from both undergraduate and postgraduate students, including:

  • English-speaking students
  • Mandarin-speaking students

Creator

You should:

  • Have an interest in social media and current trends
  • Enjoy generating creative content ideas
  • Be confident creating videos, photos or written content

Performer

You should:

  • Be comfortable appearing on camera
  • Enjoy communicating with others
  • Understand what prospective students want to know about university life

Supporter

You should:

  • Be reliable and willing to help
  • Follow instructions well
  • Enjoy working as part of a team

The form will ask for:

  • Basic information about yourself (course, year of study, etc.)
  • A short introduction
  • Any relevant experience, interests or transferable skills
  • What you hope to gain from the programme
  • Optional: Submit one example of your work that demonstrates your creativity or communication skills, such as:
    • A video
    • Social media post
    • Photography
    • Blog or article
    • Other creative project
