The primary purpose of this role is to support postgraduate representatives and strengthen the SU’s ability to represent postgraduate students across the University. There are two roles available: one supporting Postgraduate Taught representation, the other supporting Doctoral representation. This could include:
- Supporting Postgraduate Taught/ Doctoral representatives, working with our team to provide the tools, training and ongoing support needed to allow representatives to thrive in their roles.
- Working with SU Officers to identify trends, escalate issues and support effective responses to student concerns.
- Reviewing and improving postgraduate representation processes and approaches, drawing on rep feedback and sector best practice.
- Supporting the recruitment, engagement and recognition of postgraduate representatives.
- Helping to organise and deliver training, rep events, and rep meetings.
- Acting as a first point of contact for Academic Representatives through meetings and the Voice inbox.
- Empowering representatives to make change and improve the postgraduate student experience.
These roles are designed to be flexible, offering post holders the opportunity to develop and implement their own ideas alongside supporting the day to day running of postgraduate representation.

Location: This role will mostly be based in 1 East (Claverton Down campus) or other locations on campus. There may be the option to work from home for specific tasks (by prior agreement from line manager).
