About you: Working in our store means that you are the face of our lively campus outlet. At our Market store, we offer a wide range of choice for our customers. As we strive to deliver excellent customer service, the ideal candidate will have experience of working in a customer facing role.
About the role: Casual Retail Assistant tasks will include:
- Assisting customers
- Receiving and storing deliveries, following food safety procedures
- Ensuring shelves are full and tidied.
Various shifts will be available throughout semester 2 and beyond. The positions are on a casual basis, so hours will therefore be flexible and offered as and when required by the business. Examples of shifts could be a 4-hour shift during the week, with a longer weekend shift of circa 7 hours.
How to apply: Interested? Please email an overview of relevant experience with your CV. Include in the email when you are able to start work, along with your typical availability to work on each day from end of January. Please include contact details and send to TheMarket@bath.ac.uk.
The Home Office provides guidance on what evidence to provide if you are offered a role. If you have a British or Irish passport, you will need to show the original to the team as part of your onboarding so please arrange to have your right to work documentation with you for when interviews will be arranged.
Applications close midnight Friday 30th October 2026.
