Looking for a fun, flexible job on campus? We're looking for enthusiastic, friendly and reliable people to join our bar team at the Plug & Tub. From busy student nights and live entertainment to daytime food and drinks, no two shifts are quite the same. You'll be part of a great team helping to create a welcoming, safe and enjoyable experience for students and visitors.

No bar experience? No problem!

We're looking for people with a positive attitude, a willingness to learn and great customer service skills. Previous bar experience is a bonus, but full training will be provided.

What you'll be doing

• Serving drinks and food in a busy student bar.
• Providing excellent customer service and creating a welcoming atmosphere.
• Helping deliver student events, club nights and live entertainment.
• Keeping the bar and customer areas clean, tidy and well stocked.
• Working alongside a friendly team of students and experienced staff.
• Following licensing, health and safety procedures to ensure everyone has a safe and enjoyable experience

What we're looking for

• Good communication and customer service skills.
• The ability to work in a busy environment.
• Flexibility to work daytime, evening and weekend shifts.

Shifts and pay

Pay: £13.45 per hour plus holiday pay (£15.07 per hour including holiday pay).

Shifts: Typically 4–6 hours, with a mixture of daytime, evening and weekend work.

Term time: A minimum availability of 2 shifts per week.

Club nights: All staff will be expected to cover some late-night club shifts as and when these events take place. These shifts form part of the role, so applicants must be willing and available to work occasional late nights. We offer a lively working environment, full training and the chance to be part of some of the biggest events on campus.
