Looking for a fun, flexible job on campus? We're looking for enthusiastic, reliable and hard-working people to join our kitchen team at the Plug & Tub.

From busy lunchtime services to student events and evening food service, you'll be part of a friendly team helping to deliver great food and a welcoming experience for everyone visiting the SU.

No kitchen experience? No problem!

We're looking for people with a positive attitude, a willingness to learn and a strong work ethic. Previous kitchen or catering experience is a bonus, but full training will be provided.

What you'll be doing

• Preparing and serving food in a busy student venue.
• Helping deliver a great food experience for students and visitors.
• Supporting the kitchen team during busy lunch and evening services.
• Keeping food preparation areas, equipment and kitchen spaces clean and organised.
• Assisting with washing up, cleaning and restocking.
• Following food hygiene, allergen management and health and safety procedures.
• Working alongside a friendly team of students and experienced staff.

• Flexibility to work daytime, evening and weekend shifts.

Shifts and pay

Pay: £13.65 per hour plus holiday pay (total hourly rate to be confirmed).

Shifts: Typically 4–6 hours, with a mixture of daytime, evening and weekend work.

Term time: A minimum availability of 2 shifts per week.
