What We Do

Founded in January 2018, Bath University Law Society is the only aw society in England that runs without a School Of Law at their University. BULS intends to establish Bath University as a principle provider of non-law talent to leading law firms, and create a supportive network for students interested in law and striving to pursue a legal career.

BULS has previously hosted speakers, social events, and organised academic conference trips in an effort to allow students to engage with practitioners and gain valuable insight into a career within the law industry. Such events included the "Meet the Non-Law Lawyer" Series or the Bristol Lawyer Conference.

Reasons to Join Us

Our members come from ALL DEGREE DISCIPLINES, and we encourage you to join no matter what subject you study - we believe law firms are increasingly looking beyond the traditional talent pool and target non-law students.

Join us if

  1. You are considering converting to law
  2. You want to boost your commercial awareness and employability
  3. You want to meet leading law firms.
