Community Gardening Volunteering Event – Sunday 22nd November 2015
The PGA have teamed up with V Team, the volunteering society, to offer you a social event with a difference!
Come along for a day of gardening, landscaping and planting as a small team looks to turn a neglected patch of land in Twerton into a lovely fruit garden. Keen hands are needed from 10:30 till 16:30, with jobs including rubble digging, bramble control, sign post construction and the planting of new fruit trees and bushes- so make sure to wear clothes you don't mind getting muddy!
Lunch will be provided, and will certainly be needed after the ambitious work planned for the day!
Hannah Close Community Garden is located just off Dominion Road in Twerton as shown in the map below. Meet there at 10:30am, look out for red V Team t-shirts!
