Salsa Society dance for Bath residents

Last week, the Salsa Society put on a fantastic performance for the residents of the Woodside Nursing Home.

The newly formed Salsa society competition team saw the performance as a fantastic opportunity to not only showcase their latest routine, but also give back to the wider Bath community. The society commented that they, ‘thoroughly enjoyed performing for the residents and hoped that they were entertained!’

The staff and residents had a fantastic time watching the dancers, saying ‘the event was really nice - our residents and staff really enjoyed it’. The staff also thoroughly appreciated the dancers staying around after the performance to chat with the residents, commenting that it was a ‘lovely touch’.

The Salsa society was also very grateful to everyone at the home for being so ‘supportive, friendly and for giving them the environment to give a great performance’. They added, ‘we look forward to meeting the residents again at our next planned session at the home’.

We’re so proud of the Salsa society for taking their talent beyond the University and spreading some joy through dance. Well done to the Salsa Society on their wonderful performance, and a big thank you to the staff and residents of the Woodside Nursing Home for being so welcoming!
