Trolleys for food donations have been set up across campus to go to those in need through Genesis Trust.
Decorating for Donations!
On Monday 5th December, V Collect teamed up with Campus Services' Sustainability Team decorating trolleys to be located around the university sites to collect food donations for Genesis. We brightened them up with balloons and shiny ribbons, so they’re easy to spot!
If you feel able to donate to this incredible cause, please leave any new, sealed, non-perishable food/toiletry items in the trollies, and together we can make a real difference to the lives of families this Christmas! Genesis have asked in particular for the following items which are most needed at this time of year: chocolate/biscuit boxes, children’s chocolate selection boxes, mince pies, Christmas pudding, tinned ham/chicken/salmon, instant mash, tinned fruit and vegetables as well as laundry detergent, shampoo and shower gel.
Trolley locations are outside the Lime Tree, the Market shop, the Amazon Lockers by Fresh, and at Dartmouth Avenue and will be on site until Sunday 18th Decemeber.
