Scala Hall is an exciting new SU student and community space located above Co-Op in the heart of Oldfield Park. This large, spacious area is available for booking by student groups and can host activities for up to 60 people. With a small kitchen and a variety of different furniture from a big family-style dining table and sofas to moveable tables and chairs, the space can be reconfigured to suit your group's needs whether for a dance rehearsal, craft session or meal. A sound system, microphone and projector are coming soon - making it the perfect location for quiz nights or film screenings!
Scala is also open to students wanting a quiet space to revise and study. For this purpose, the space is usually available between the hours of 10-4pm on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, and between 10-2pm on Wednesdays. Scala is usually booked up over the weekend with group activity so will not be available.
Please be mindful that groups will be able to book the space within the hours mentioned above so you may be asked to vacate the space at short notice. If you wish to find out if Scala is going to be available for individual use then please contact su-arts@bath.ac.uk
Scala Hall is also home to the Student Community Partnership (SCP) team.
