At the start of the academic year the club provides a free comprehensive introductory course, compulsory for all our new members that aren't already experienced archers. The course consists of 5 weekly lessons, taught by our qualified archery leaders. After completing the course you will be allowed to come shoot with us as often or as little as you like.

Our Beginners' course this year is being run on Wednesdays and Saturdays, with each 5-week course starting on the 10th and 13th October. There are 5 sessions on each day, so choose the most convenient one for you from the list below and sign up on the Sign Ups page:

For safety reasons we cannot allow you to shoot in open toed footwear. We also ask that you remove facial piercings and tie back long hair. It gets pretty cold at this time of year so make sure you dress warmly and come prepared for rain.

Sessions are 1hr long, and you will be taught in groups (10 people max per group).  All sessions take place on the Sulis Field.
