Bath University First Aid Society (BUFAS) logo

What We Do

St John Ambulance is a charitable organisation dedicated to teaching first aid to as many people as possible in order to give people the skills to save lives. Members of St John Ambulance can assist and provide first aid at public events on and off campus including Freshers' Week, Summer Ball and a number of other campus wide events.

LINKS is a special branch of St John designed for students in higher education to get the first aid knowledge they want. We have close connections with Bath Adults St John unit and with other units across the region which means we're never short of support and we have opportunities to volunteer outside of university.

But don't worry if you're not interested in joining the organisation! Joining the society doesn't mean you have to become a member of St John Ambulance. Simply come along to our sessions and receive exactly the same training and first aid knowledge as everyone else!

First aid can save lives. Be the difference.
