The Byelections for SU Sport Executive committee and Sport club committees are now open!
The deadline for submitting your nomination and manifesto is Monday 19th April.
We could not deliver the level of sport that we do without passionate committee members in the sporting community. After the pandemic, we need passionate and innovative people to shape the sporting offer on the club and executive level.
There are some incredible opportunities to affect change in sport at Bath, and the experiences and skills you develop will undoubtedly look incredible on your CV!
The SU Sport Executive committee is in charge of the strategic direction of SU Sport. From project management and budget oversight, to working on Equality Diversity and inclusion initiatives, there are so many ways you can help. Here are a few of our top picks:
- Inclusion officer- if you're passionate about equitable opportunities to participate in sport, this is the perfect role for you. There are lots of opportunities to engage with the 50 club Welfare and Inclusivity officers, and Diversity and Support groups, working on campaigns and events such as This Girl Can and Black History Month.
- Treasurer- want to work with big budgets, assist the SU finance team and work with club treasurers? Get your manifesto in!
- Volunteer Recognition coordinator- This is a fantastic role if you think volunteers are awesome (we do!). You'll find new ways of recognising them and helping them develop during their time as a sporting volunteer!
- Recreational coordinator- Work with clubs, organise and run events, and assist with our amazing Bath Active Programme! There are so many opportunities to play sport recreationally at Bath, and you'll be bringing that to light in your role!
- We're also looking for a Chair, Welfare officer, Marketing officer and Performance officer!
