BUCS Team
Our BUCS Team represents the University of Bath in the British Universities & Colleges Sport equestrian league.
For 2026/27, we have one BUCS Team, based at Jill Carenza Equestrian in the Cotswolds.
BUCS equestrian competitions work a little differently from normal competitions. Riders are allocated unfamiliar horses and compete in both a dressage test and a showjumping round, so being able to adapt quickly to different horses is a big part of the competition.
Throughout the season, the team competes against other universities in the South West, with the opportunity to qualify for Regional Championships and then the National Finals.

Team Trials will be held on Wednesday 7 October.
