University of Bath Women’s Rugby Union
Welcome to the University of Bath’s Women’s RFC!
Here at UOBWRFC, we are an inclusive, fun and supportive club. We welcome all abilities from having never touched a rugby ball to regularly playing at a high level. We train a couple of times a week alongside our all-important socials which help us bond as a team!
In our 2022/23 and 2023/24 seasons, our 1XV finished 1st in the Western 1A League! We then went on to win our playoffs at the end of the 2023/24 season, securing a league promotion to Premier South! We also have a competitve 2XV who are entered in the Allianz Inner Warrior Series, and this is a great opportunity for anyone looking to try out the sport or develop their skills!
As a club, we have strong ties with Bath Rugby. Through this partnership, we have been given great coaches. A few of our players play for Bath Rugby Ladies, alongside several of them being chosen to play for the Bath Rugby 7s Team. Between our partnership with Bath Rugby and also through Inner Warrior Camps, there are plenty of both playing and coaching opportunities - something for everyone!
TRAINING TIMES
We train twice a week regularly at the University at the following times:
MONDAY 7:30 AM – 9:00 AM
FRIDAY 7:30 AM – 9:00 AM
Both sessions are usually followed by a team breakfast at the STV afterwards – perfect before starting a day of lectures!
So, no matter whether you have no idea of the rules or have been playing for as long as you can remember...
