CHEMBALL 2024
ChemBall 2024 is back at the Roman Baths for one more year! Expect a glamorous night out featuring a drinks reception, dinner and performances by the university's BigBand and DJ.
Tickets are NOW AVAILABLE and can be found towards the bottom of this home page.
Anyone is welcome! Students from all courses attend every year and we promise to keep this night chemistry-free for everyone to enjoy themselves and socialise. Bring your friends, your partner and your housemates to our wonderful annual event!
What We Do
University of Bath Chemistry Society - Chem:Soc aims to help students from the Chemistry, NatSci and other departments in the science faculty make the most of their time at University. All students at Bath are welcome to join, be it due to an interest in the subject, or just so as not to miss out on some of the best departmental socials around, including the annual and very popular Chemistry Ball (Maybe a STEM ball this year!), amongst a wide range of different socials throughout the year.
Reasons to Join Us
With over 200 members we are one of the largest departmental societies on campus.
Things to look forward to 2023/24:
- A wide range of socials including nights out, movie/show screenings (breaking bad!), Alchemist night, bowling and cocktails at LANE7 and pub crawls!
- Collabs with other societies
- CHEMBALL 2024! YES, ITS HAPPENING!!!

And what's more, Chem:Soc is a huge pool of fellow students to meet, who can also help with University life and modules!
