What We Do
The University of Bath Boxing club welcomes all students of all abilities.
If you are interested in improving your fitness, getting into competitions or just having some fun and meeting new people the Boxing Club is the place to be.
We train 3 times a week at the Sulis Club. For those of you who don't know the Sulis Club it is a sports complex about a mile from campus.15 minutes before a session begins we meet outside the STV and run over together.

Our coaches are Jake and George. Jake is an external coach and George is a fellow student who is also a qualified coach, both have a huge wealth of boxing experience.

We Train Hard and We Play Hard!
We do provide kit, but this is limited so we advise that when you become a member, you buy your own. Ask in club for details.
To be able to spar you must have a medical test, costing £28, and to compete in fights a further £10.50 to register with the ABA. During both sparring and fighting the necessary protective equipment will be provided.
Reasons to Join Us
- We are open to males, females, all abilities and all fitness levels.
- We welcome both people who wish to train and people who wish to compete.
- This year we are also hoping to increase our female membership, and so are therefore holding female only sessions.
- This year we will be looking to compete more. For those interested this will involve plenty of sparring and technical training.

SESSIONS TAKE PLACE AT THE SULIS CLUB SO EITHER MEET US THERE OR AT THE STV ENTRANCE 15 MINUTES BEFORE THE SESSION.
5:30 - 7:00pm – For beginners who wish to learn and members who wish to train and improve technique
4:00 - 5:30pm – Fitness and Skills, female members only, All Abilities.
5:30 - 7:00pm – Fitness and Skills for all members, bag work and circuits
5:30 - 7:00pm Fitness and skills for all members, bag work and circuits. Main emphasis on experienced fighters and some sparring.
