Burban 2013-2014
There had been a growing interest in dance styles outside of break, therefore this was the year where BREAK officially established ‘Elemental’. It was the crew name for a subsection of the society that did other street styles apart from breaking. *Fun fact: the name ‘Elemental’ was inspired by Will’s crew that used to train in town in Bath. Will then became a regular teacher at Burban for a number of years! The society’s styles only became more and more diverse from here on out! In addition, BREAK doubled in members, created better university relations and went on to win the ‘Best Arts Society of the Year’.
