SHOWCASES:
There will also be a December showcase for small dances and team dances on the evenings of the 8th and 9th of December. There is also an April showcase in semester 3 consisting of 3 shows: 2 evening and 1 Matinee on the 19th and 20th of April! Showcases are held at the Edge theatre on Campus.
FRESHERS WEEK:
- Our freshers week events will be consisting in taster sessions throughout in a range of styles taught by Dancesoc dancers! They will be super fun, a great way to meet friends like you at Uni and will give you a great taste of what being part of dancesoc is like. Don't be afraid to come along it will be a really welcoming atmostsphere!

- Auditions for compeition teams will be the week after freshers week!
SOCIALS:
- Coffee and a Chat?- Committee and members will be at limetree from 3:15-4:30 on tuesday the 26th Sept. Then at 4:30 we will all walk to the Tuesday taster sessions together! Come and say hi and ask any questions! We would love to see you.
-27th Sept- Returners social- DRESS IN BATH DANCESOC KIT- A social for all previous DanceSoc members to get together again before our first big social the week after. This social is for returning 2nd/3rd/4th years. It is at the Slug and lettuce Upstairs at 8pm!
-We will be going to FISHIES afterwards- to get your tickets use the link in our instagram highlights and use code uobdance
-4th Oct- OUR FIRST SOCIAL- DRESS AS YOUR DEGREE- This social is for the whoile of dancesoc! Any year including freshers! We will be meeting at Belushis at 8pm. Returners meet there! Freshers if you are on campus we will meet you by the bus stop at 7:15pm and taker the bus to town together- any freshers living in town meet at the bus stop by the train station in town at 7:40pm and we will come and get you. We will then walk to belushis together- this is also a great way to get to know other danceSoc freshers and members from other years.
- We will be going to SCORE after at the SU on campus- use our code DANCE for a discounted ticket and to help the society!
