What will the yoga class be like?

Join us for a yoga class, ran by Bath University Yoga Society (BUYS). This class will be a gentle introduction to yoga, perfect for beginners and anyone who would like to give yoga a try - all are welcome!

From seated movements, to standing poses, and then transitioning to slower stretches, ready to find some stillness at the end of the class. Teachers encourage students to follow along at their own pace and listen to their own body throughout, never pushing themselves too far.

This class will come as a nice grounding activity amongst the excitement of a hectic freshers’ week. Location information found below in ‘Accessibility Information’

What to bring?

A bottle of water may be a good idea, but no need to bring any equipment. The club provides all mats and blocks, but feel free to bring your own mat if you’d prefer.

What is the Yoga Club?

We are an SU sport club who hold weekly yoga classes on campus, and in the city, run by a range of qualified yoga instructors. The club also holds regular and varied socials for members to get to know each other better outside of the studio!

Come find our stall at the sports fair for more info!

This event is open to ALL freshers and is FREE but is ticketed due to capacity restrictions. Tickets will be available here from Wednesday 2 September. Your ticket will be sent to you via email as a QR Code. Please make sure you have this ready and available with you upon entry to the event as well as your student ID.
