Kickboxing Fight Night
Every year we hold some of the biggest and best events in the Bath University Calender, highlighted by our annual Kickboxing Fight Night. Get ready for a huge show in Komedia in front of over 600 screaming fans. We invite other universities to try their luck against some of our top fighters before inevitably celebrating our wins with a massive night out. Previous fights have seen challengers from Bath Spa, UWE, Bristol and Cambridge all take part in one of the most loved events of the year.
Muay Thai Fight Night
Brand new for 2023/2024, say hello to knees and leg kicks people! Bath is adding itself to the University Muay Thai circuit alongside some of the best university teams in the country such as Exeter, UWE, Warwick, Durham, Leeds Beckett and KCL. In previous years our Muay Thai team has been exceptionally successful at Thai boxing events across the country…. and that wasn’t even on home turf! Next year they bring the fight to us and we cannot wait!
Muay Thai Competions
Alongside our own residential Muay Thai competion, we also travel acros the country competing in the University Muay Thai Circuit. This is a perfect opportunity for those of you looking to fight at a more advanced level under the careful guidance of trained coaches and referees. University Kickboxing Championship
Join us on our annual trip to Leeds for the University Kickboxing Championship. Everyone of all levels and abilities is welcome to take part in the countries largest kickboxing competition. The day consists of tournament style rounds to test your skills followed by a fight night style finale. This is a great opportunity to fight alongside your friends and enjoy a few celebratory drinks on the journey back. Win, lose or draw, this is a great opportunity to bring the whole club together.
Kickboxing on Tour
Looking for a post winter exam stress relief! Well look no further, because ladies and gents, Kickboxing is going on tour! In February 2024, Kickboxing will spend a week in a European city, wining, dining, playing games, pub crawling, pub golfing and, as a past time, engaging with some cultural stuff! Look for tickets under “products” closer to the time and check out our Instagram to stay up to date with all the most recent developments!
Bootcamp
Our annual bootcamp rounds off the year with a well deserved weekend away to somewhere local! Past years have seen members try their luck at a range of activities including Brazillian Jiu-Jitsu, MMA and team building before taking a splash with some paddle boarding or giant Zorbs. A celebratory BBQ and bonfire night is always a good way to round the weekend off!
If your lucky you might even get to meet Bath Universities very own Khamzat Chimaev.
