We are proud to host the annual Sumo Robot competition, where contestants put their blood, sweat and tears into robots that let them spill bolts, wires and oil!
The Sumo Bot Fighting Competition is a (for now) non-destructive robot battle league in which teams compete to design and build a robot capable of pushing other robots out of the Sumo Battle Ring! Last bot standing wins!
As part of the Sumo Robot Competition, you will learn how to choose and select components, design your own chassis, manufacture and assemble your own bot and face-off against other teams to become the Sumo Robot Champion.
History: In 2024/25, The Inaugural Sumo Robot Competition was held. There was 8 teams that participated in the competition and the winner had their logo permanently imprint into the Sumo Robot Ring.
