Sam Gregory - Chair

Hi I'm Sam, your chair for this year going into 2nd Year Maths.

You can find me watching all sorts of different anime as I enjoy a wide range of genres (see my long list of shows i haven't finished as evidence), otherwise I'll probably be lurking on the discord.

A few of my favourite anime are The Aquatope on White Sand, Kamitsubaki City Under Construction, Angel Beats! and the Fate Series (I'll finish the visual novel one day). And while I haven't read as much manga, I've enjoyed Call of the Night, Takagi-san and Three Days of Happiness a bunch.

Terry Chan - Treasurer

HI I'm Terry, your treasurer for this year, also a huge badminton addict and going into second year of Mechanical Engineering.

My favourite genre is slice of life such as Bocchi the rock 🗿 and other garubandos, Call of the night, Angel Beats and Horimiya. For those of you who are action fans I also like JoJo especially part 4 :Jojo_menacing:

Currently I am enjoying my time with Persona 5 Royal (I loveee takemi) and midwest emo music #iplayguitarbtw.

Svenja Goski - Safeguarding Team

yahallo minna chan tachi I am Svenja DESU! I'm a 4th year CS&AI student current on placement in Guildford so you won't see me much in person but I'll be there for quiz and other big events probably! This is my 3rd year being on committee and I am returning as part of the safeguarding team this year!

My top 2 anime are The Pet Girl of Sakurasou and Durarara!! and my top 2 characters are Tsubasa Hanekawa and Sakura Matou and my top 2 manga are The Summer You Were There and Call Of The Night and my top 2 light novels are Bakemonogatari and Oregairu and my top 2 games are Terraria and Half-Life 2!

I also enjoy photography so you will probably see me post stuff in ⁠gallery from time to time but also on my twitter mainly!

Sky Chu - Safeguarding Team

Hi hi! I'm Sky, a 3rd year maths student, returning for one more year of BAMS as part of your Safeguarding Team!

My (two) favourite anime of all time have to be The King's Avatar and Revue Starlight but other shows I do like as well are Violet Evergarden, Uma Musume and Food Wars. As for manga, I've not read as much but I do enjoy Medalist and Kagurabachi!

Outside of BAMS, I try to play badminton fairly regularly and I'm a watcher of Only Connect and football.

Zero Burska - WNB Officer

Hihi everyone! I’m Zero, second year Management with Marketing student, and I’m going to be your WNB Officer this year!

My favourite anime of all time is definitely FMAB, I fell in love with it basically immediately, though Fairy Tail is up there too as it’s a childhood favourite of mine. A more recent favourite of mine is Link Click, and I’m so excited for the new season. I even dedicated a TikTok account to it at some point! (don’t try and find me… 😰)

You’ll often find me drinking iced coffee somewhere (I LOVE iced coffee), and I’m always up for a chat! I’m looking forward to spending the upcoming year with all of you!!

Vinh Thi - GENCOM

Hey hey people, Vinh here I’m an Aerospace student, amateur fansubber, producer for Chihaya Kisaragi, and gencom for BAMS.

I love idol, mecha and, girls with guns anime especially Legend of the Galactic Heroes, Macross, Gundam, Garupan, Patlabor, Fafner and the iDOLM@STER series. My favourite directors are Yoshiyuki Tomino, Osamu Dezaki and Mamoru Oshii and my favourite mangaka are tkmiz, Yokoyama Mitsuteru, and Matsumoto Jiro. I also enjoy VNs like MuvLuv and Muramasa.

I’m the #1 hater of SRT subtitles (.ass ftw) and hopelessly addicted to Anime Music Quiz (insert songs shall forever remain on).

Howard Li - GENCOM

Hi! My name is Howard, a 2nd year sport and exercise science student, and a member of the general committee this year. Hoping for a fun year with you all!

Of the fair share of anime that I have seen, my clear favourite is 86, though I also really like Call of the night (I’m not a larper like Terry 😼 ), Code geass, Gosick, and Garden of sinners. I don’t really have a genre preference, but isekai slop may or may not be a guilty pleasure of mine.

Other than anime, I used to run track and field, and also enjoy football (Tokyo Verdy fan since youth 💚💚💚 ) and baseball.
