Wednesday 3rd February, Amnesty X STAR Collaboration Meeting

Join us virtually to discuss the progress of our Equal Access campaign! It is through our members that we are able to spread our message, so we also want to hear your ideas and opinions about the campaign. Volunteering week

Wednesday 10th March, Maya Goodfellow in Conversation

Writer and academic Maya Goodfellow will be joining STAR National to delve deeper into the 'hostile environment' and what to expect from it in a post-Brexit, post-Covid Britain. She will be joined by human rights campaigner and activist Michael Darko.

Thursday 11th February, Drinks + Committee Q&A

Want to know more about what we do as a committee? Thinking about running for committee next academic year? This rolls around very quickly and we would love to hear from you if you are considering applying, we'll be happy to answer any questions you have about our experience and roles.

Thursday 25th February (7pm), Bristol & UWE STAR Collaborative Discussion

Each STAR group (Bath, Bristol and UWE) will be presenting on a different topic surrounding current affairs about refugees at the moment, such as the Nappier Barracks and the Digital Divide.

Thursday 11th March (7pm), UNHCR Guest Speaker

5th April-19th April, Run for Refugees!

To symbolise the journey a refugee may take to reach the UK, we will be undertaking a sponsored walk/run of a milestone distance to fundraise for STAR.
