Big Band
Bath University Big Band is the large ensemble of JazzSoc, bringing together student musicians who love playing big band jazz in a fun, friendly and collaborative environment.
We are a non-auditioned band, so whether you're an experienced big band player or looking to develop your skills in a larger ensemble, it's a great way to meet other musicians, build confidence and play some fantastic music. Our repertoire ranges from classic swing and big band standards to funk, Latin and more contemporary arrangements.
Rehearsals
When: Tuesdays, 19:30 - 21:30
Where: Large Ensemble Room (LER), The Edge Building
Rehearsals are weekly during term time and are typically followed by a relaxed social at the SU. There's no need to be a jazz expert - just bring your instrument, your enthusiasm and a willingness to play!
