Muay Thai
In Muay Thai, we train a variety of stand up striking techniques! Often known as the "art of eight limbs", Muay Thai, utilises punches and kicks alongside elbows and knees. Fights are scored according to the professional boxing scoring system, with trained referees and doctors, making sure safety is the first concern.
K1
In K1, we focus on fast-paced and dynamic stand-up striking! Known for its explosive combinations, K1 blends techniques from kickboxing, and Muay Thai, using punches, kicks, and knees, but limiting prolonged clinching to keep the action continuous. Bouts are scored using a 10-point must system, rewarding effective striking, aggression, and control.
Sanda
Sanda, also known as Chinese Boxing, was originally developed by the Chinese military for self-defence, which combines traditional kickboxing with wrestling, takedowns, and kick catches. Although less known in the west, our professional coach, Scott Harris, holds weekly sessions focused on self-defence, fitness and competition.
Semi-Con Kickboxing
Often considered more of a martial art, Semi-Con kickboxing takes a different approach to boxing while incorporating flashier kicks. Unlike Muay Thai, kicks to the leg are not allowed. This style can take you from very beginner levels all the way to the top of the University Kickboxing Championship.
Session Times

Our beginner sessions and sessions that don't specify an ability are open to everyone; you do not need any experience to attend. Our advanced sessions are recommended to fighters who have a good understanding of all strike techniques and have at least 1 year of experience, including sparring.
