Social Netball

Love netball? Never tried it and want to take up a new sport at Uni? Or just enjoy playing sport, having fun and making friends? Then Social Netball is perfect for you!

What is Social Netball?

Social Netball is the recreational form of the Netball at the University. We welcome anyone to come along for a 'Taster' of netball- whether you have experience playing or none at all! It's a great way to meet loads of new people from different courses and years! Our Social Netball coordinator Eliza Porter will run the sessions each week as an experienced coach, giving you as much gameplay as possible! Social netball usually runs on a Sunday to ensure you don't have any clashes with your timetable - bring your housemates, course friends or come along to meet others!

Why join the Netball Club?

With the success and renowned reputation of TEAM BATH Netball, the University of Bath has a well-known association with Netball – so you can be assured that you will be joining THE BEST club on campus! Not only do we have opportunities for netball players of all levels but we are a friendly and welcoming club with calendar full of social events for members to get to know their team mates on the court and on the town!

Whatever you want to get out of playing netball, be it competition, fun or fitness give social netball a go!

Follow our social media platforms for more info regarding sessions during freshers week and throughout semester 1! Feel free to email us at su-netball@bath.ac.uk with any questions.
