What is trampolining?

Trampolining is exactly what it sounds like, a chance to bounce up and down for while and learn some cool skills while you're at it. From the basic shapes and jumps to somersualts and twisty things, there's always something new to do.

Scroll to the bottom of the page to see some example skills you could learn here.

What does a session look like?

Sessions are as relaxed or focused as you choose. After a warm-up, the club be split into smaller groups and assigned a trampoline. From there you'll take turns on the trampoline, with a coach supervising to support you as much as you need.

Other important informaton:

Absolute beginners are very welcome, a large proportion of our club only started trampolining at university so you won't be alone. For regular members there's the possibility of even somersaulting by the end of the semester.

Sessions are designed to be flexible, there's no obligation to attend anything. So whether you want to do all the sessions, attend once a month or whatever fits you're schedule, that's completely fine and expected.

Competitions are a way to showcase your progress and accessible for beginners, and are completely voluntary. Some members never compete, some do all the completitions, and a large majority will do one or two a year so there's never any pressure either way. Head to the Competition page for more information, or talk to committee at your taster!

Some experience

Whether you only did it during PE at school or it's been ten years, we can help you get back into it and progress further. Competitively or just for fun, you choose how your sessions go, we'll just be there to help.

Competitive experience

We provide several opportunities throughout the year to comptete, although it's all optional and our coaches can support you whatever your goals may be.

What does a session look like?

Sessions are as relaxed or focused as you choose, and what you do will be mostly self-led, along with support and guidance from our experienced high-level coaches.

Other important informaton:

A large proportion of our club compete regularly across all levels and we can support you wherever you're currently at, whether that's to continue competing or purely recreational.

We compete in SUTL, the Southern University Trampoline League which hosts 5 competitions a year so there's plenty of opportunity to continue competing if you wish. The competitions are as relaxed or intense as you want them to be although the main emphasis is on having fun.
