What We Do
The University of Bath Triathlon Club is a fun and friendly club which welcomes triathletes from beginner to elite level. We offer over 15 organised training sessions a week with a supportive committee and coaching body. We have access to fantastic facilities using the Sports Training Village 50m swimming pool, outdoor and indoor running tracks, spin bikes and the beautiful areas surrounding Bath. Throughout the year we compete in a number of events including aquathlons, duathlons and triathlons. We also organise numerous socials throughout the year to meet everyone's taste, so be sure to come along and introduce yourselves.
Reasons to Join Us
Are you a beginner looking to get fit, be social, make friends and enjoy three sports for the price of one? Are you a keen swimmer, runner or cyclist looking for a new challenge? Or are you a pro triathlete in need of a club to take you to the top? If any of the answers to the above questions is yes then we are the club for you!
The triathlon club is fun, friendly and very diverse, ranging from beginners to elites. We have access to fantastic facilities, with over 15 organised training sessions a week plus extra ad hoc sessions and socials, there is plenty to get involved in.
We also organise numerous races and events throughout the year to meet the needs of all. Our winter training camp during the January Inter Semester Break (ISB) is also very popular. Previously we've taken up to 30 students to Tenerife and Calpe to enjoy mountains, food and sunshine!

Who we are:
Chair - Bryce
Hey, I'm Bryce, the resident granddad of the triathlon club, this is my fifth year with the club and I'm proud to take the leadership reins for the second time this year. Before I joined as a fresher, I'd never done a triathlon before, or even ridden a road bike more than ten miles; so never let lack of experience hold you back! I'm looking forward to continuing the inclusive and fun atmosphere the club has always had, and to make sure everyone is having a great time! Over the years, I've picked up a substantial amount of tri-related knowledge, so if you need a bike fixed/position fitted/aero optimised/training advice or anything else under the sun, then feel free to ask!
