The plan explained:
In order to join in our swim sessions you will have to do a short SU swim test. You can do this by booking onto an organised swim test through the SU website or emailing the committee to find an appropriate time. We will then be happy to advise you as to which group would be best for you to train with if you’re not sure. The advanced group is recommended for those who swim sub 6mins for 400m free.
The Wednesday rides are organised by cyclist ability. There should be something for everyone with beginner, intermediate, advanced and mountain biking groups.
Spinning sessions cater for all abilities so anybody is welcome, however there are a limited number of bikes so it is first come first served.
Running sessions are suitable for those of all abilities. Sessions may differ dependent on ability to enable everyone to get the most out of every session.
If you are new to the club, don’t feel like you have to do all the sessions. In fact that would be pretty impossible to manage, so just do the ones you can/ want to. Providing those training in the advanced sessions make the times, anybody is welcome anywhere and there is no minimum number of sessions you have to do. The coaches and committee members are always happy to discuss your training with you so don't be shy about asking for advice.
