The Rotork Community Challenge
The Rotork Community Challenge helps School of Management students develop employability skills such as team working and project management, while making a positive impact in the local community.
The Challenge takes place each year and starts with local charities and organisations submitting project ideas for students to help them. This could be in one of a variety of ways, including making improvements to the charity's way of working, launching a new social media or marketing plan, or delivering a specific event to the public.
12 groups of School of Management students then each work with 12 local charities to run and deliver a project in 4-6 weeks during Autumn each year.
The outcome of each project will be presented by students and judged by business and management experts. The winning team receives a donation from Rotork for their charity.
