Who are we?
We are made up of 4 teams:
- The L5s captained by Harriett Chambers (hc2121@bath.ac.uk)
- The L6s captained by Jenna Goodge (jg2606@bath.ac.uk)
- The M5s captained by Arthur Smith (as4897@bath.ac.uk)
- The M6s captained by Ross Dillon (rad68@bath.ac.uk)
Why should you join rec hockey?
- No prior hockey experience required!!!
- Sticks available to those who need them
- The option to play friendlies against local universities, schools, and colleges almost every Wednesday
- A pressure free environment.
- A great opportunity to stay active twice a week with your friends.
- Reduced Membership cost – since no BUCS Fee is necessary. (Not needed when you first join).
- You can join any time of the year so if you miss the first few weeks after freshers feel free to send us a message or come along to any one of our sessions.
What we offer:
- An England Hockey affiliated six-a-side tournament every week at 17:00 on a Sunday
- Weekly training:
- Ladies 6s 13:30 - 14:30 on Tuesdays
- Mens 6s 13:15 - 14:30 on Mondays
- Feel free to come to training or Sunday sixes no matter your skill level!!!

Why we are better than BUCS hockey?
- The L5s and L6s are some of the most welcoming and fun people you will ever meet.
- The M6s won social team of the year last year (2021/22).
Where are the pitches?
- In order to get to the pitches, you have to walk through the entire Sports Training Village until you reach the end where you then turn right and find the pitches outside.
