BUCS Hockey
Our top 4 Men's teams and top 4 Women's teams compete in BUCS (British Universities and Colleges Sport), giving a wide range of players to compete against opposing universities for a chance to win leagues and cup competitions.
Current
Our Men's 1s and Women's 1s compete in the highest possible leagues Men's Premier (National) and ICG Women's Premier (National) respectively competing with the best universities across the country. The Women's 1s reached the final of the Vase this year; however, just missed out on being victorious.
Our Men's Couples* compete in Men's Premier (South) having been promoted in 2022/23. The Women's Couples* play in the Western 2A league who narrowly missed out on promotion last year and will look to better that this season. The Women's Couples won the Western Conference Cup this year, meaning they finished unbeaten.
Our Men's 3s compete in the Western 2B league and have consistently been fighting at the top of the table. The Ladies 3s have also enjoyed considerable success in recent years to join the Ladies Couples in the Western 2A league which will see them play off against each other - a match not to miss.
Mens 4s play in the equivalent standard to the Mens 3s, but in the Western 2A league. The Ladies 4s are consistent strong performers in Western 3A having been crowned Champions this Season.
