Blues Awards
In addition to our own awards, Bath Student’s Union recognises the most outstanding athletes and coaches at the university. The annual awards ceremony celebrates volunteers, Olympians, world champions and inclusivity. They also award the Sports Personality of the Year and Club of the Year, two of the most prestigious awards available. In 2014, as recognition for our huge membership and success at tournaments (including 24 medals from 25 entrants at a PUMA national event), we were awarded the Club of the Year.
The Blues awards are based on achievement at the highest levels of the sport and were first awarded at Oxford and Cambridge University. Honorary awards are available for those who transform university sport to a new level while studying, and in 2018 were awarded to Wei Wei, Junshi Wace and Ed Colman-Roberts.
