University of Bath Mixed Lacrosse

Mixed lacrosse offers players the opportunity to get to know everyone in the club whilst playing the sport in its most social and relaxed format. No prior lacrosse experience or equipment is needed, enabling mixed lacrosse to be a truly inclusive environment.

This year, mixed lacrosse is one of the few competitive sports confirmed to be running in semester 1. We've entered two teams in the brand new Mixed Lacrosse League, meaning there's plenty of space to play some not-too-serious sport if you want to get active and have some fun.

Training is held on a weekly basis on Fridays 4-5 on the astro, with plenty of in-club run tournaments throughout the year. The club also runs fixtures against other universities and boasts a very successful record. The highlight fixture of the year is the annual grudge match against Bristol, where fierce on-field competition is followed by a joint social. The club is also hoping to host its own tournament in 2021.

Following summer exams, the club goes on a week-long tour to sunny European locations. Previous destinations include Croatia, Spain and Italy. Ask any previous tourist and they’ll say it’s the highlight of the mixed and social calendar.
