The Committee 2023/2024

As with all clubs here at the University, BULB is run by a team of dedicated and enthusiastic students. The role of the committee is to make sure the club runs smoothly, and organise events for club members. We can be found at lessons, socials, and competitions, and are always available if you have any club-related issues or just want a chat!

Carolyn Acevedo (she/her)
Chair

I joined BULB as a complete beginner, and it's absolutely been one of the best parts of my uni experience.

Please feel free to reach out to me if you have any questions, or just to say hi!

Jack Cooper (they/them)
Treasurer

Joining BULB was the best thing I did in first year, I am seriously considering applying for a masters and then a PhD solely so I can stay a part of BULB for as long as possible.

Evie Adams (she/her)
Welfare & Inclusivity

Joined in my first year as a beginner and can’t wait to continue in September!

Amelia Rodrigues (she/her)
Team Captain

I joined the club last year as a beginner and have enjoyed everything BULB has to offer, especially being introduced to the competition world.
I'm looking forward to the coming year and seeing you all soon!

Julia Wojcik (she/her)
Team Captain

I’ve been doing Ballroom and Latin since a young age and represented Team GB in 2015!
After a 6 year break, I am glad to be back on the dance floor doing what I love most, representing the University of Bath.

Megan Edwards (she/her)
Social Secretary

Hey! I joined BULB last year after being dragged to a taster by one of my friends and I have loved ever second since.
I’ve got lots of socials in the works for this year - hope to see you there!

Dominic Sykes (he/him)
Events Secretary

After seeing a demonstration of some of the dances on the parade, my interest was piqued enough to attend a taster session, and I’ve loved it ever since!
