End of the Year Social
It is an annual tradition to hold a final event to cap off the year with style! The Salsa Ball is an event held after the end of exams and Summer Ball to celebrate the friendships formed through the plentitude of events, lessons and socials organised throughout the year. It is also a way to commemorate SalsaSoc members through awards given by the committee and voted by the society. As well, it could not be a SalsaSoc event without the final social dancing session of the year! Leaving a good last impression before leaving for the summer is key, so dress to impress!
Society Member's Talents
As a showcase of our wonderful members, it is an annual tradition to hold a non-salsa talent show, which is often the highlight of the event! We have seen a variety of amazing performances involving a multitude of talents, including:
- Singing - songs from country of origin, pop, musicals
- Dancing - burlesque, break, hip hop
- Instrumentalists - guitar, violin
- Gymnastics
- Comedy
