Activities Executive Committee


The Activities Exec are an elected body who work with the Activities Officer to represent the voices of societies and volunteering groups to; The SU, the University and the wider community.

The Activities Executive Committee is elected annually to support our Activities Officer, and help all societies and volunteering groups become the best they can be! The team meets twice a month to discuss funding, student feedback, areas of improvement, events and loads more.

Hi everyone, I am Nathanail, currently a fifth year Mechanical Engineering student, from Cyprus. I have been involved in the SU in various roles throughout the year in the Cypriot Society and as an Academic Rep. This year ... I am chairing Bath City FC Supporters Society (you should come to a match!) and Coffee Soc, as well as being CySoc’s Treasurer Other than lectures and my involvement in societies, you can find me at my local gym, nature paths around the South-West or playing ultimate frisbee. As the Activities Executive for Politics and Activism in our Student Union, I'm committed ... to creating a positive impact on our campus and to create an environment which can help student have their best experience . I am proudly representing our Department of Humanities and Social Sciences as a Faculty Rep. Beside academics, you'll find me through sports like tennis, running, and horse riding. What really lights up my days is organizing, conferences, and managing events. I'm proud to say that in high school, I orchestrated one of the biggest school festivals, with over 1000 attendees! Volunteering is another passion of mine. I took the initiative to create and distribute Covid awareness flyers to refugee camps and high schools in Kurdistan, aiming to make a difference during these challenging times. Looking forward, my aspirations, my goal is to become a diplomat and an impactful leader, working towards the United Nations' global goals. My ultimate mission is to create an inclusive and enjoyable university experience in my field for all students. Together, let's make our experience more diverse, vibrant, and enjoyable with energy.
