Big Band is a fun, non-auditioned jazz ensemble playing a large and varied repertoire, from classics such as In The Mood and Sing Sing Sing to quirkier tunes such as Hunting Wabbits and themes from "The Incredibles".
There are plenty of opportunities for both written and improvised solos no matter what instrument you play. We are open to trombones, trumpets and all manner of saxophones, as well as piano, guitar, percussion and bass. So if you feel like coming, pop over to the Ensemble Room in the Edge from 7:30pm - 9:30pm on a Tuesday to see if this is the ensemble for you!
