Choir
We are an SATB choir, welcoming singers of all levels of experience to participate in our varied and exciting repertoire.
We are a non-auditioned choir, run by students. The Choir is ideal for people who enjoy singing as a hobby, but it is also fabulous for those who wish to practice their singing and sight-reading and pursue their singing more seriously. We sing a wide variety of music from the more serious Christus Factus Est and Geistliches Lied, to the more relaxed musical medleys.
Singing is an extremely enjoyable activity which allows every individual to find their voice and experience a marvellous sense of release from the weight of daily responsibilities and expectations. We work in a casual and friendly environment and our rehearsals are as much about having fun as developing our singing ability and producing a high standard of music. We are a very social society with drinks after rehearsals and different organised events with the other ensembles in ChaOS.
