Coaching
TBB HC supports EH and GB Hockey’s promotion of high quality coaches and coaching as well as more, better happier players. High quality coaching is one of the most important enablers to achieve the clubs aims.
Whats even better is that you guys have the opportunity to support TBB HC goals by helping to coach some of their junior teams.
There are lead and assistant coaching vacancies for:
- Girls U14-U18
- Thursday 5:30pm -7:00pm at the University of Bath and King Edwards School
- Boys U14-U18
- Tuesday 5:30pm-7:00pm at the University of Bath and King Edwards School
- U12 Girls
- Sundays 11:00am-12:30pm at the University of Bath
These positions are paid opportunity, with the possibility of earning up to £750 per season.

Umpiring
If coaching is not quite what your interested in doing, consider about umpiring matches instead. TBB HC has there matches on the weekend with the senior matches mainly on Saturday and junior mainly in Sundays.
This is another paid opportunity from the club where you get paid £12 per match plus a free post-match meal for most matches you umpire. If you umpire regularly for TBB HC, you will be provided umpiring kit from the buccaneers.
TBB HC can arrange Level 1 Assessments where needed and the club will provide umpire development support.
Umpires of all levels are welcome, including those who are unqualified.
